Dallin Baldwin, candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in choral conducting, presents his final lecture recital. "The Seven Last Words of the Unarmed," by Atlanta-based composer, Joel Thompson, is a multi-movement choral work that sets to music the final words of seven Black men killed by police officers or other authority figures.
The recital will also feature works by Heinrich Schütz, Connor Koppin, Tesfa Wondemagegnehu, and Stephen Sondheim.
